Repair kit: how to use it

Equipment needed (not included): fine sandpaper, cloth, spatula, masking tape, roller.

1. Use the repair kit in the same colour as the shower tray: white, anthracite, grey or creta.
2. Depending on the depth of the damage, decide whether painting is enough or filling is needed.
3. Sand the area to be filled with fine 220-grit sandpaper.
4. Clean the area carefully, removing all dust. If the whole tray needs refinishing, clean it with acetone first.
5. Stir the colour until uniform.
6. Add the catalyst at 2% (2 g of catalyst per 100 g of colour) and mix for about a minute.
7. Mask off the area to be repaired with masking tape.
8. With the roller, pick up a small amount of mixture and apply it to the area; for the whole surface, always roll in the same direction.
9. Remove the masking tape.
10. Wait 12–15 hours for the mixture to dry completely.
